Texas State’s Vietnam representative continues partner visits in Ho Chi Minh City

Following meetings with MAY, Blue Sea and StudyLink, during the same late-September and early-October 2026 trip Texas State University’s representative in Vietnam also visited thinkEDU, New World Education and other recruitment partners in Ho Chi Minh City.

As before, the meetings covered updates on academic programmes, admissions policy for international students, and advising materials.
What parents ask — and where to check
The person sitting across from parents every day is the partner’s counsellor, not the university office. So the most important outcome of these visits is that each common question has an official answer anyone can open and read:
| Parents ask | Where to check |
|---|---|
| When is the application deadline? | Application deadlines |
| How much does a year cost, and are there scholarships? | Costs and scholarships — separating real cost from the I-20 proof-of-funds figure |
| What if my child’s IELTS is not high enough yet? | English pathways |
| Is my child eligible? | The eligibility self-check, against the university’s real thresholds |
| Does the university offer the subject my child wants? | The programme list |
If what you are told anywhere differs from those pages, ask again — or contact the representative office directly.
For advising companies
Companies interested in becoming a Texas State recruitment partner can find details on the partners page. Current partners can download the materials kit — brochures, photography and post templates carrying the partner’s own contact details.
