Frequently asked questions

How are matches generated?

The tool compares your selected fields with program names and colleges across TXST’s official catalog of 196 degrees, prioritising STEM programs if you choose that option.

Why do STEM programs matter?

International graduates of STEM programs can work in the U.S. for up to 3 years on OPT (12 months + a 24-month extension), instead of 12 months.

What if I am unsure about my major?

That is normal. U.S. students often change majors in the first year or two. Send your result to an advisor for analysis based on your academics and career goals.

Can I see details for each program?

Yes. Click any card for a dedicated page with level, college, STEM designation and a link to the official TXST program page.
