1. Who processes your data

VNIS Vietnam Co., Ltd, the authorised recruitment office for Texas State University (USA), operates txst.edu.vn and studytxst.com. For any question about your personal data, write to international@studytxst.com or call +84 989 869 268.

2. What we collect

What you enter in our forms: name, email, phone number, country, organisation (for recruitment partners), study level and field of interest, and your message.
What you enter in our tools: GPA, English test scores, housing and spending choices in the cost calculator and eligibility check — sent to us only when you choose to share the result with an advisor.
Collected automatically: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and time of visit; aggregated Google Analytics measurement; Sentry technical error data (with all on-screen text masked).
Your consent record: the version of the consent wording you read, which purposes you agreed to, and when.

3. Why we process it — you consent to each purpose separately

Admissions advice and follow-up (required to answer your request): assessing your profile, advising on programs and costs, guiding your application, supporting the I-20 and visa steps.
Scholarship, event and deadline updates (optional): sent only if you tick that box yourself. Declining does not affect the advice you receive.
Running and securing the website: spam prevention, error monitoring, aggregate traffic measurement.

We never treat silence or a lack of reply as consent, never pre-tick a consent box, and never use your data for purposes beyond those listed above.

4. Who we share it with

Texas State University — when your file is submitted for admission, the offer letter and the I-20.
The recruitment partner who referred you, where applicable.
Technical providers: Vercel (hosting), Neon (database, hosted in Singapore), SendLayer and Resend (email delivery), Google Analytics (measurement), Sentry (error monitoring).

Some providers host servers outside Vietnam (United States, Singapore), so your data may be transferred and stored abroad. We select providers with data-protection commitments and matching contractual terms. We do not sell personal data.

5. How long we keep it

Enquiry data: for the duration of your enquiry and up to 24 months after our last contact, then deleted or anonymised.
Enrolled student files: kept as long as needed for our obligations to the university and under applicable law.
Consent records: retained as proof of compliance, including after you withdraw consent.

6. Your rights

You may ask what we hold, access it, correct it, request deletion, restrict or object to processing, request a copy, withdraw your consent at any time, and lodge a complaint with the competent authority.

To exercise any of these, email international@studytxst.com with the name and phone number you used. We respond within the period required by law. Withdrawal does not affect processing lawfully carried out beforehand.

7. Cookies and measurement

We use technical cookies to remember your language and keep your session, and Google Analytics to understand traffic in aggregate. You can block cookies in your browser; some features may then work partially.

8. People under 16

If you are under 16, please have a parent or guardian complete the form and give consent on your behalf. Where we find we have collected data from someone under 16 without valid consent, we delete it.

9. Data security

The site runs entirely over HTTPS, data is encrypted in transit, access is role-limited and logged. If an incident affects personal data, we notify as required by law.

10. Changes to this policy

When the consent wording or the purposes change, we update this page and ask for consent again where the law requires it. The update date is always shown at the top.
